We had a wonderful stay at Royal Albion Villa. the room was spacious and had high ceilings, with double glazed windows that effectively blocked out the noise from traffic. We even received croissants and biscuits, and my son loved the rock sweet left on his pillow. the warm welcome and excellent service from the owners made our stay even more enjoyable. the location, with its sea view, was simply unbeatable. We will definitely be recommending Royal Albion Villa to our family and friends. Cons: Hard to think of anything. 🤔.

During my recent stay at a charming gem of a hotel in a lovely area, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly atmosphere that greeted me. The location was excellent, with easy access to the local high street as well as the beautiful beach at Walton-on-the-naze. The room, although basic, was exceptionally clean and provided all the necessary amenities. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the stocked breakfast items in the room and the good quality towels in the en-suite bathroom. Despite the occasional drawbacks, like limited dining options in the evenings and the need for a small paint job, my overall experience at The Royal Albion was positive. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

I recently spent Christmas at a hotel in a coastal town. the best aspects of my stay were the amazing sea views from my room and the excellent customer service provided by the staff. the room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities I needed, including water, cereals, tea, and coffee. the hotel's location was perfect, just a minute's walk from the beach, shops, and only five minutes from the pier. Another advantage that I enjoyed was the personal touch provided by the hotel, such as the daily supply of breakfast goodies and refreshments in the room.
There were some aspects of my stay that I didn't particularly like. the initial receptionist I encountered seemed unwelcoming and made me feel uncomfortable.

It was just a short walk from the beach, shops, and pier, making it incredibly convenient. the room itself was basic but clean, with a comfortable bed and a good shower in the en-suite bathroom. the towels provided were soft and fluffy, and the milk supplied in the fridge was of good quality. I also appreciated the small touches, like biscuits with my tea and a breakfast of cereal and yoghurt.
One of the downsides of the hotel was the lack of central heating in the room. It was winter when I stayed, and the wall-mounted fan heater and smaller one in the bathroom were not sufficient to keep the room warm.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better, with a short walk to the train station and a great selection of shops, restaurants, and family pubs nearby. the staff at the hotel were all lovely and very helpful, providing a warm and welcoming check-in experience. the room was spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's sleep. the bathroom was also clean and well-maintained, with a great shower and plenty of fresh towels. the hotel provided a nice selection of breakfast items, including croissants, cereals, and yogurts, as well as tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
The hotel lacked a bit of atmosphere, and the bar area didn't look very inviting.

We had a romantic escape and loved the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed the lovely shower room. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk from the pier and right across the road from the beach. Plus, the strong WiFi signal was a bonus for staying connected.
The exterior of the building could use a freshen up, as it seemed a bit worn. Additionally, we found the breakfast left in the room for two mornings to be insufficient.
